Not only is it recommended to consume nutritious food, but it is also recommended to consume healthy drinks in order to maintain health while lowering the risk of disease. Because the body is mostly water, the need for water in the body must always be met in order for the metabolic system and organ performance to continue to run smoothly.


But not just any water can enter the body. Water that enters the body must be clean and cooked in order to be germ-free. Not only that, but the water must also contain nutrients that the body requires, rather than substances that aggravate organ performance.


Water is regarded as one of the healthiest beverages available. Its availability on Earth is also plentiful, and it undoubtedly provides everything the body requires to replenish lost fluids. For millions of years, humans have relied solely on water as their source of nutrition. Following that came milk, beer, wine, coffee, and tea. They all have a distinct flavor and are unquestionably beneficial to the body.


Various types of drinks, ranging from soft drinks to energy drinks, are now on the market. These various types of drinks are available, providing a variety of flavors and, of course, hydrating the body. It is important to remember, however, that not all drinks are beneficial to the body. For the sake of your body's health, you must continue to limit all types of unhealthy drinks.


Recommendations for Various Types of Healthy Drinks

With so many options, different types of healthy drinks have different effects. Experts from the Harvard School of Public Health Nutrition Department reviewed the evidence for drinks and health and ranked beverage categories into several levels to classify the best types of healthy drinks. These levels are determined by the number of calories delivered, the contribution to energy intake, and the nutrients in them.


According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the following are the best healthy drinks to drink more often!


  ➡️   1. Clear Water

Water provides the body with one essential thing it requires: pure H2O. This substance can replenish lost fluids via metabolism, respiration, sweating, and waste disposal. Water is the ideal drink for quenching thirst and refreshing your system, so it's only natural that experts advise you to drink more water more frequently. The amount you require, however, is determined by how much you eat, the weather, and how active you are. "Drink eight glasses of water every day," is a common piece of nutritional advice that is already the best guide for meeting the majority of a person's fluid needs.

Tea and coffee are the world's second and third most consumed beverages, after water. Pure tea and coffee (without sugar) are calorie-free beverages high in antioxidants, flavonoids, and other biologically active substances that are beneficial to one's health. Green tea, particularly the strong variety served in Japan, has gotten a lot of attention for its potential to protect the body from heart disease. Meanwhile, coffee has been shown to help protect against type 2 diabetes. However, if you still want to get the most out of these two drinks, cut back on the added sugar and other unhealthy ingredients.

3. Milk

There are three types of milk that are classified as healthy drinks and are highly recommended to be consumed more often. Types of milk include low-fat milk, skim milk, and soy milk. For children, milk is the main source of calcium and vitamin D. Fortified soy milk is a good alternative source of calcium and vitamin D for those who choose not to drink cow's milk or are allergic to cow's milk. They are also a great source of protein and other important micronutrients. However, that does not mean you can consume them in large quantities. For adults, it's best to limit milk (and all dairy products) to one or two glasses a day.

Fruit juices, vegetable juices, whole milk, sports drinks, and vitamin-enriched water fall into this category. Each has its own set of benefits and drawbacks. Fruit juice contains the majority of the nutrients found in the fruit, but it usually contains more energy. As part of your daily fruit intake, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend no more than one serving (4 ounces) of 100 percent fruit juice.


   Fruit smoothies are typically high in calories and should not be consumed on a daily basis. Vegetable juices are lower in calories than fruit juices, but they may be high in sodium. Sports drinks contain fewer calories and less sodium, chloride, and potassium than soft drinks. Ordinary people do not require them. Athletes who work out for more than an hour in stretching and sweat a lot are the only people who really need it.
